
German Engineering Students Embark on International Short Course at Undiknas University
Denpasar, Bali, December 17, 2024 – Undiknas University recently welcomed four students from Germany to participate in its International Engineering Short Course Program. The students came from Nordakademie University of Applied Sciences and Technical University of Dortmund. This initiative is part of Undiknas University’s commitment to fostering global education and cross-cultural collaboration in the field of engineering. The program, which spanned one semester, offered a diverse range of courses tailored to equip students with both technical knowledge and practical skills. The subjects included Financial Technology, Microeconomics, Green Energy, Programming for Engineering, and Foundations to Manufacturing. These courses provided the students with a comprehensive understanding of modern engineering principles while integrating aspects of business and sustainability. The program also emphasized supporting sustainability by integrating eco-friendly solutions into engineering practices and promoting awareness of environmental responsibility.


Throughout the semester, the German students engaged in interactive lectures, hands-on projects, and collaborative assignments with their local and international peers. They also had the chance to participate in a field trip, allowing them to gain hands-on experience and apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world engineering settings. The students also explored sustainable initiatives, learning how engineering can contribute to long-term ecological balance and resource conservation.
