
ECU Medical Students Embark on Hospital Visit Program at RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah Bali
Denpasar, Bali, October 1, 2025 – RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah welcomed a group of medical students from Edith Cowan University (ECU), Australia, as part of an international academic collaboration with Undiknas University. The program, held over four days from September 30 to October 3, 2025, aimed to provide participants with firsthand exposure to Indonesia’s hospital system and healthcare services.


The first day of the program was dedicated to orientation, where students were introduced to the hospital’s general profile. The session covered RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah’s environment, vision and mission, service types, organizational units, and other essential aspects of hospital operations. Following the orientation, the students participated in a focused hospital visit, exploring key medical units including the Maternity Building, Emergency Department (UGD), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). These visits allowed students to observe clinical workflows, patient care procedures, and the infrastructure supporting critical medical services.


This initiative reflects a shared commitment between Undiknas University and ECU to foster global learning experiences and cross-cultural academic exchange. RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah expressed its enthusiasm for hosting the program, emphasizing the value of international collaboration in enhancing healthcare education and service quality.
