Undiknas Student Joins International Certification Program: Institute Skill and Training Australia, GTNT
Denpasar, Bali, September 19, 2025 — Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas University) has strengthened its international academic collaboration through a partnership with GTNT Group and the Institute of Skills and Training Australia (ISTA). This collaboration provides Undiknas students with opportunities to participate in an International Tourism Certification Program, designed to enhance professional competencies, global tourism knowledge, and international industry readiness.
As an initial achievement, a student from Undiknas’ Applied Bachelor Program in Tourism Destination successfully passed the selection process for a one-semester program focusing on tourism destination management, sustainable tourism practices, and international industry standards.

The collaboration has been met with great enthusiasm, emphasizing the program’s dual role: providing students with international recognition while introducing them to best practices across the global tourism sector. This achievement also underscores Undiknas continuous commitment to empowering its students with opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. By joining international programs, Undiknas students are encouraged to broaden their perspectives, embrace cultural exchange, and prepare for meaningful contributions to the sustainable development of Indonesia’s tourism industry.

Looking ahead, both GTNT and Undiknas plan to expand this program so more students can benefit in the future. Opportunities will not only connect students with Australia but also extend to other regions, including Asia and the United States, ensuring wider access to globally recognized certifications.
With this first step, Undiknas reaffirms its role as a forward-looking university dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence. This activity represents the implementation of SDGs point number 4, which focuses on high quality education. This activity also represents the implementation of Asta Cita point number 4, which focuses on strengthening the development of human resources, science, technology, education, health, sports achievements, gender equality, and the empowerment of women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
