Undiknas Becomes the Only Private University Implementing the SMA Unggul Garuda Transformasi Enrichment Program 2025
Denpasar, Bali, September 8, 2025 – Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) is further strengthening its affiliation as an internationally competitive university. On September 4, 2025, Undiknas achieved another remarkable milestone in its history as a World-Class University. Based on a series of selections conducted by the Directorate of Strategy and Transformative Learning Systems, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikti Saintek RI), Undiknas was successfully appointed as the only Private University (PTS) in Indonesia, which became the Implementer of the SMA Unggul Garuda Transformasi Enrichment Program in 2025. (UI, ITB, Undiknas, Unpad & UNJ). The determination was based on the Decree of the Director General of Science and Technology Number 0366/D/HM.00.00/2025 dated September 3, 2025. Specifically, the Rector of Undiknas was also invited to sign the contract and receive direct direction from the Director General of Higher Education, Kemendikti Saintek.
In implementing this program, Undiknas will focus on clusters of leading schools, namely: Cahaya Rancamaya Senior High School in Bogor and Banua Senior High School in South Kalimantan. Undiknas’ presence in these two schools will open up new synergy between universities and secondary schools. In implementing mentoring, coaching, and enrichment, Undiknas will provide a transformative learning experience oriented towards Excellence and International Competitiveness, based on technology and research, and relevant to the challenges of 21st-century education. Undiknas is committed to providing learning innovations and academic mentoring that have a real impact.
Furthermore, the SMA Unggul Garuda Transformasi 2025 is known to be a strategic program of the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, aimed at strengthening the capacity of high schools to compete internationally. This program aligns with Undiknas’ Vision, Mission, and Milestones to strengthen international affiliation and contribute to advancing superior secondary education in Indonesia. The appointment of Undiknas as the implementing agency for the SMA Unggul Garuda Transformasi 2025 Enrichment Program further affirms Undiknas’s role as an Impactful and Internationally Competitive Campus. This program not only strengthens Undiknas’ affiliation at the national level but also demonstrates the university’s contribution to the development of superior human resources.
