International Educational Trip: Bridging Knowledge and Cultures in Singapore & Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas University) is excited to announce an international educational trip to Singapore and Malaysia from August 29 to September 1, 2024. A total of 40 students, accompanied by 2 staff members, will participate in this enriching experience, which is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to provide global exposure and foster academic collaborations. The group will visit Curtin University in Singapore and HELP University in Malaysia. The trip is designed to offer a combination of academic workshops, campus tours, and cultural experiences, enhancing students’ global exposure and understanding of international educational systems.
Day 1: Singapore – Curtin University Visit and Cultural Exploration. The journey will kick off with a visit to Curtin University in Singapore, where students will have the opportunity to engage with academic faculty, tour the campus, and learn about Curtin’s global programs. Following this, the group will visit the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Singapore for a formal session. The day will end with sightseeing at Singapore’s iconic Sentosa Island and Gardens by the Bay, giving students a taste of the city-state’s vibrant culture.
Day 2: Malaysia – HELP University and Kuala Lumpur City Exploration. On August 30, the group will travel to Malaysia to visit HELP University’s Damansara Campus. The students will participate in a workshop on “Entrepreneurial Journey: From Zero to Hero” aimed at equipping them with essential skills for navigating an increasingly interconnected global economy. At the end of the session, each student will be awarded a certificate of participation. The day will conclude with an exploration of Jalan Alor, a bustling local food street in Kuala Lumpur, providing students with a taste of Malaysia’s culinary culture.
Day 3: Cultural Exploration in Malaysia. The third day will be filled with cultural exploration, beginning with a visit to the famous Genting Highlands and Batu Caves. The group will also tour the renowned Chocolate Museum before enjoying a city tour and shopping at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Suria KLCC, and Mid Valley Megamall.
Day 4: KLCC Twin Towers Visit and Putrajaya Tour .The final day will start with a visit to the iconic KLCC Twin Towers, followed by a tour of Malaysia’s administrative capital, Putrajaya. The group will explore Dataran Putrajaya, the Putrajaya Mosque, and the Millennium Monument before heading to Kuala Lumpur International Airport to catch their return flight to Bali. This initiative aligns with Undiknas University’s mission to broaden the horizons of its students by integrating academic excellence with international exposure, empowering them to compete on a global scale.
