2nd Batch of International Company Visit Success!
Malaysia – Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas University) held the Second Batch of International Company Visit to Malaysia through the International Office unit. This program is carried out in collaboration with HELP University, one of Undiknas’s partner campuses. The second batch of International Company Visit was attended by a total of 20 students ranging from all faculties in Undiknas. The enthusiasm to participate in this program can be seen through the many questions from students asking about places and activities they will be doing later.
The series of second batch of International Company Visit lasted for four days. After checking out from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the students went straight to Petronas Towers. The students are free to explore the beauty of one of Malaysia’s icons at night which is also known as the Petronas Twin Towers. After visiting Petronas Towers, they went on a night city tour to Saloma Bridge which is decorated with colorful light. On the second day, the students went to visit Thean Hou Temple, Genting Highland, and have dinner at Jalan Alor Bukit Bintang where they tasted the famous Musang King Durian. Not only explored the land of Kuala Lumpur, but they also got a chance to tour around HELP University Subang 2 Campus. The students were lucky because they could see some of the events held by students there.
On the following third day, the students first visited Chocolate Museum Kuala Lumpur to see how the company makes and processes its chocolate brand. Then the students continue to have International Business workshops at HELP University KL Campus. Dr. Kishen Adnani, the senior lecturer at HELP University, explains how international business is an ever-changing environment and how culture plays important role in it. After finishing the class, the students receive a certificate for completing the workshop. On the last day, they visited Pasar Seni where they bought lots of souvenirs to give to their family, friends, or loved ones.
Through the International Company Visit Batch 2, it is hoped that participants can gain new insights regarding how a business and industry works in producing products or services. It is hoped that this program can provide new ideas for students in developing their abilities so that they can become professionals or business pioneers that produce highly competitive products in the market.
