
UNDIKNAS Strengthens International Collaboration with APU Malaysia through Official Visit and Signing Ceremony
Denpasar, Bali, May 14-16, 2025 – UNDIKNAS University has taken a significant step toward strengthening its international partnerships with Asia Pacific University (APU) through an official visit and signing ceremony. The delegation was led by the Rector of UNDIKNAS, Prof. Dr. Nyoman Sri Subawa, and the Head of the International Office, Mr. Ida Nyoman Basmantra. The visit commenced with a guided campus tour led by an Indonesian Student Ambassador, providing an insightful overview of APU’s state-of-the-art facilities and vibrant student community. This was followed by a special tour of the Psychology Centre, where Ms. Vinorra Shaker, Head of the Psychology Program, introduced UNDIKNAS representatives to APU’s innovative learning spaces and research facilities.


After a productive networking lunch, the event continued with a formal introduction to APU by Prof. Dr. Andy Seddon, Senior Director of Partnerships and Standards. Representatives from the APU Indonesian Student Society (AUISS) also gave a presentation, showcasing student life and engagement at APU. In return, UNDIKNAS delegates shared insights into the university’s strategic vision, international initiatives, and commitment to global education. The highlight of the visit was the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, marking the beginning of a strengthened partnership aimed at enhancing educational experiences, facilitating joint research, and promoting global learning opportunities. The MoU includes plans for curriculum benchmarking and program collaboration, designed to elevate the quality of education and expand cross-border academic opportunities for students from both institutions.


The ceremony concluded with a symbolic group photo, commemorating this significant milestone in the international collaboration journey of UNDIKNAS and APU. Prof. Dr. Nyoman Sri Subawa expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “This partnership is a testament to our commitment to global education and academic excellence. We look forward to fruitful collaborations with APU that will benefit our students and broaden their global perspectives”. Mr. Ida Nyoman Basmantra added, “The curriculum benchmarking and program collaborations will serve as a bridge for knowledge exchange and cultural understanding, aligning with our vision for internationalized education”. This strategic alliance is expected to pave the way for joint research, student exchanges, and collaborative academic programs that will enrich learning experiences and contribute to the global competence of students from both UNDIKNAS and APU.
