
HIMA TI Undiknas Successfully Holds Seminar Thoroughly Examining the Role of Cognitive Psychology and AI in UI/UX Design
Denpasar, Bali, March 12, 2025 – The Information Technology Student Association (HIMA TI) of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) successfully organized the 2026 Academic Seminar on Information Technology on Thursday, 12 March 2026. Held at the Dwi Tunggal Auditorium of Undiknas, the event carried the overarching theme “The Influence of UI/UX on User Psychology in Creating Comfort and Digital Experience.” The seminar received a highly positive response, as evidenced by the enthusiastic attendance of participants from various study programs within Undiknas who sought to broaden their knowledge in technology and design.


The event was moderated by Yadhurani Dewi Amritha, S.Si., M.Sc., and featured presentations from two expert academics. The first speaker, Ir. Anak Agung Adi Wiryya Putra, A.Md., S.Pd., M.Pd., delivered an in-depth presentation on the foundations of psychology and the role of human cognition in designing effective UI/UX. The second speaker, Ir. Ida Bagus Ary Indra Iswara, S.Kom., M.Kom., highlighted future technology trends by comprehensively discussing the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in designing user interfaces and digital experiences.


The seminar atmosphere was dynamic and educational, reflected in the high level of student engagement through active questions and direct discussions with both presenters regarding practical challenges in the digital design field. Through an activity that provided benefits such as e-certificates, expanded knowledge, and valuable experience, it is hoped that students will be able to integrate psychological approaches and the latest AI technologies to create user-centered design innovations.
