MoU Signing Between Teesside University UK and Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (UNDIKNAS): Establishing University Collaboration for the Improvement of Educational Quality.
Denpasar, Monday, June 12, 2023 – Teesside University UK and Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (UNDIKNAS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at developing innovative joint degree programs in the field of education. The MoU was signed by the Rector of Undiknas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., representing Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, and Mr. George Hunt, the Director of the International Department from Teesside University UK. The MoU signing ceremony took place at Building A, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, Denpasar, and was attended by several prominent figures from both universities.
In an effort to expand the reach of international education and enhance educational quality, Teesside University UK and Undiknas University have agreed to explore collaboration through a joint degree program. This program will provide students with the opportunity to obtain dual degrees from both universities, focusing on fields of study relevant to current industry needs.
The MoU signing event was also attended by key representatives from Teesside University UK, including Ms. June Chai, the Regional Director of Southeast Asia, Mrs. Santi Ashari, and Miss Shania Astika, the Counselor IDP. Meanwhile, from Undiknas University, Ida Nyoman Basmantra S.Pd., M.Pd., M.M., the Head of the International Office, attended along with the members of the office.
During the meeting, Mr. George Hunt expressed his enthusiasm for establishing collaboration with Undiknas University. In this era of globalization, international university collaborations in the field of education are becoming increasingly crucial to prepare the younger generation for future challenges.
