“Voice of Hope”: ICSA UNDIKNAS Empowers Women in Gianyar through Social Work 2025
Gianyar, Bali, December 13, 2025 – ICSA Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (UNDIKNAS) has once again demonstrated its tangible commitment to community service through Social Work 2025. Held at Banjar Selasih, Puhu Village, Payangan, Gianyar, this year’s event carried the meaningful theme, “Voice of Hope: Bridging Knowledge, Building Future.” The program was specifically designed to embrace and empower the local community of female heads of households through a humanistic educational approach and sustainable economic empowerment.

In its implementation, Social Work 2025 went beyond merely providing social aid; it focused on self-capacity building through a series of strategic programs. One of the main agendas was business coaching sessions and support for local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Through this mentorship, students shared knowledge regarding simple business development strategies applicable to the women of the PKP community, aiming to elevate and manage the local economic potential in Banjar Selasih more independently. Beyond the economic aspect, the event was also filled with warm bonding activities to strengthen social ties. This approach aimed to rebuild confidence and optimism among the PKP women in facing life’s challenges. Aligning with the theme, “Voice of Hope,” the students’ presence was intended to serve as a bridge of hope, voicing the importance of women’s roles in building a more prosperous, resilient, and competitive future for their families and communities.

For ICSA UNDIKNAS students, Social Work 2025 served as a platform to implement communication science in a real-world social context. This activity is expected to cultivate deep empathy and social awareness, shaping students’ characters as agents of change who are sensitive to societal issues. This collaboration between the students’ spirit and the resilience of the PKP women in Gianyar stands as proof that synergy between the academic world and the community can create a real, positive impact.
