Undiknas Attends Inauguration of AIYA Bali Chapter at Australian Consulate-General
Denpasar, Bali, October 9, 2025 – Mr. Ida Nyoman Basmantara, Head of the International Office at Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas), received an official invitation from the Australian Consulate-General in Bali, represented by Ms Jo Stevens, to attend the Inauguration of the Bali Chapter of the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA). Mr. Basmantara attended the event on Thursday, 9 October 2025, from 17:30 to 20:00 at the Australian Consulate-General Bali, Jalan Tantular No. 32, Renon. His presence reflects Undiknas’s active commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships and advancing the university’s internationalisation agenda.

Undiknas views participation in this inauguration as a strategic step to deepen people-to-people links, open new channels for collaborative programs, and expand mobility and exchange opportunities for students and staff. This aligns with the university’s vision to cultivate impactful global networks and long-term cooperation with reputable international partners. The Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA) is a youth-led community that connects young Australians and Indonesians, creating platforms for cultural exchange, professional development, and bilateral collaboration. With the launch of the Bali Chapter, AIYA expands its footprint to better serve youth communities in the region and catalyse joint initiatives across education, entrepreneurship, culture, and public diplomacy.

Undiknas is grateful for the invitation and extends appreciation to the Australian Consulate-General in Bali for the opportunity to take part in this milestone. The university looks forward to closer collaboration and hopes the newly inaugurated AIYA Bali Chapter will grow into a productive community that fosters concrete partnerships and co-created programs benefiting both countries.
