The Indonesian AID Scholarship
Indonesian AID Scholarship is a grant program from Indonesian Government aims to support the achievement of SDGs targets, especially in the education sector. Provide opportunities for talented individuals to develop their potential, enhance their knowledge and skills, and contribute to their communities. Through this program, participants are expected to foster mutual understanding, strengthen international cooperation, and drive positive change in their respective fields, ultimately supporting sustainable development and global harmony. The scholarship is open for countries in grantee priority areas under Foreign Affairs Ministerial Decree Number 15/2020. As the scholarship is targeted for Civil Servants or recommended officials in selected countries, the selection process will be carried out in selective manner. There will be a wide range of program study in Indonesian top universities and polytechnic offered to civil servants and recommended officials from targeted countries. The Indonesian AID Scholarship is open to applicants from selected priority countries, reflecting Indonesia’s commitment to fostering global cooperation and mutual development through education, also this program combines academic studies, cultural enrichment, and leadership training to prepare participants for global collaboration and community contribution.
REQUIREMENT
To be eligible for the Indonesian AID Scholarship, applicants must meet specific requirements designed to ensure they are well-prepared to succeed academically and contribute to their home countries after completing their studies.
Bachelor
1. Maximum age of 30 years as of July 31 in the year of application.
2. For unmarried applicants, willingness to remain unmarried during the TIAS Program.
3. A recommendation letter from an authorized institution in the government of the origin country stating that the prospective student will work in the government/public service sector after graduating and returning to the country of origin.
4. Citizenship of a priority country.
5. Health test document (stating that applicants are both physically and mentally healthy)
6. Not registered as an active military member.
7. Not currently undergoing or scheduled for mandatory military service until the completion of the study period.
8. Preferably has at least 2 years of work experience as a government employee in their country.
9. Preferably holds an active passport valid for at least 18 months from the date of application.
10. Submission of a TOEFL ITP certificate with a minimum score of 477 or an IELTS certificate with a minimum score of 5.5 (prediction tests are allowed) for applicants from countries where English is not the primary language. Please note that applicants to Kelas Bahasa Indonesia are required to have English fluency as well.
11. Submission of a high school certificate or its equivalent.
12. Preferably provides a certificate of employment in the government sector or equivalent documentation for those who are employed.
13. Preferably provides a certificate of good conduct and/or a document confirming no criminal record from the competent local authority.
14. Willingness to undergo a health examination (if required) after being selected as a TIAS Program recipient.
