The program took place over five days, from July 22 to July 26, and was conducted across two leading Southeast Asian nations in Singapore and Malaysia. This milestone program marked a significant step in Undiknas University’s mission to promote international collaboration, experiential learning, and global exposure for its academic community. A total of 17 selected students from diverse fields of study, that is Business Management, Psychology, Law, Communication Studies, and Information Technology, participated in this cross-border academic and industrial immersion experience. Throughout the visit, participants were given the opportunity to engage with renowned universities such as Curtin Singapore, Singapore Management University, and HELP University. These engagements included campus tours, academic presentations, and professional dialogues that introduced students to new learning environments, research cultures, and institutional best practices.

Such university visits served as critical platforms for academic discourse and intercultural exchange, fostering early steps toward future collaboration, student exchange programs, and joint initiatives between institutions. In addition to academic exposure, students visited a variety of prominent companies and cultural landmarks across both countries. The curated itinerary was designed to provide a well-rounded international experience, balancing formal educational interaction with real-world industrial and societal exploration. Iconic sites in Singapore include Changi Jewel Garden, Gardens by the Bay, Merlion Park, Marina Bay, Sentosa Island, and Universal Studios Singapore.

While in Malaysia, students explored Petronas Twin Towers, Saloma Bridge, Royal Selangor, Chocolate Museum, Central Market, Batu Caves, Genting Highlands, Chin Swee Temple, Putrajaya Prime Minister’s Office, Dataran Merdeka, Independent Square, and King’s Palace of Malaysia. To deepen their understanding of regional lifestyles, students also visited culinary and lifestyle hotspots such as Pavilion Mall, Sungai Wang Plaza, Al-Amber Restaurant, Alor Street Food, Pelita Nasi Kandar, and Mitsui Outlet. These experiences allowed participants to appreciate the cultural diversity, social dynamics, and business innovations that define each country’s unique identity.

The Comvis program reflects Undiknas University’s sustained commitment to building globally minded graduates equipped to thrive in dynamic, interconnected environments. The overarching goal of the visit was to enrich students with global perspectives, promote cross-cultural awareness, and inspire innovative thinking informed by international exposure. By experiencing firsthand the academic systems, business practices, and cultural heritage of neighboring countries, students developed a deeper appreciation for regional collaboration and were encouraged to integrate these insights into their academic pursuits and future careers.
