Undiknas University Hosts the 2nd Bali Beyond Borders Program with 13 Participants from Six Countries
Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia – Undiknas University successfully kicked off its second international program, welcoming 13 participants from Finland, the Philippines, the United States, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan. The program, which runs from December 30, 2024, to January 9, 2025, provides participants with a unique opportunity to explore Bali’s rich culture, history, and business environment, while engaging in academic discussions and networking with peers from around the world.
On the first day of the program, participants were introduced to the University’s academic offerings and activities, followed by an opening session to officially commence the event. The first module focused on “Lifestyle Systems and Social Organization in Bali,” offering participants valuable insights into how Balinese traditions and societal structures have shaped modern-day life on the island.
The program continued with classes on “History and Culture of Indonesia,” where participants gained a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical evolution of the archipelago, and “Building a Business Strategy for SMEs in the ASEAN Market,” designed to provide participants with practical knowledge and strategies for growing small and medium-sized enterprises within the dynamic ASEAN market.
In the afternoons, the group participated in cultural excursions to deepen their understanding of Bali’s history. They visited the Bajra Sandhi Museum, where they explored exhibits detailing the history of the Balinese people’s struggles for independence and their rich cultural heritage. The museum visit helped participants connect the theoretical knowledge gained in class with the lived experiences of the Balinese people.
Bali Beyond Borders Program, now in its second time, is designed to foster global exchange and cooperation, offering participants a platform to enhance their academic knowledge while experiencing the vibrant culture of Bali. Through collaborative learning and cultural immersion, Undiknas University continues to strengthen its position as a hub for international education.
